Well, it's been a little over a year, but of what a year it's been! I felt pretty badly about not keeping up to speed on here for a while, as it was something that I was loathe to have happen, but in the end, I believe it was better in the long run.
Had I continued on from where I left off, I think that it would have turned out to be a rag tag assemblage of odd factoids only loosely strung together. Now I'm not promising that it won't be a fabric of odd factoids, I can almost guarantee that, but they way that they are strung together will have a context now that makes a bit more sense than it might have otherwise.
Suffice it to say that the nail polish fascination was only the tip of an odd iceberg that came to a strange head in Dec. of 2012 that found me getting a Drag Queen makeover by a pro in the business.
And to think...I thought this was going to be about politics. Forget that! Stay tuned for a crazy tale that could be worthy of a comedy show. Ya'll ain't heard a mid-life crises like this one ~ ever.
*SPOILER ALERT!* Don't read any further unless you want to find out that I'm still straight, married, and the story is pretty much drama free except for the good drama.
